Telecommunications.Radio stations at Atafu, Nukunonu and Fakaofo transmit regular traffic and weather reports as well as providing schedules for official and commercial traffic. The UNDP has funded a new telecommunications project linking all three atolls with each other and, through Western Samoa, with the outside world.
