Contestants running for Miss Tokelau 2012 Pageant will need to bring more than just a beautiful face come competition time.
This year’s Miss Tokelau Pageant will be introducing new activities into the event to which the Fatupaepae hope will find the best representative for Tokelau to participate in the Miss South Pacific Pageant 2012.

The journey to becoming the first solar powered country in the world is now at its last and final stage with one more atoll to have its system installed and running.
Tokelau’s second atoll, Nukunonu marked it’s achievement with celebration into launching the second of three solar system last week.
USP installs new Chancellor

A major highlight during the 2012 USP Graduation Ceremony held on 07 September was the installation of the University’s new Chancellor, Ulu-o-Tokelau, Aliki Faipule Kerisiano Kalolo.
The Chancellor is the titular head of the University, who confers the qualifications of the University.
