Wrestling Gold Medallist hope to Make Tokelau Proud Again

Tokelau’s first international wrestler, Ilai Elekana is yet again on another quest to make Tokelau proud.
Ilai through an email conveyed his appreciation for all the support and look to produce a winning performance for his country.
“I hope to make our country proud again and will give it my all”, stated the Gold Medallist in an email.
“I'd like to thank god for guiding me safely to the Marshall Islands. Also, a huge thank you to you all for your support in helping me get here”, he added.
Ilai won the nation it’s first ever wrestling GOLD medal in the 80kg Greco-Roman style at the Oceania Wrestling Championship games held, Pago Pago, American Samoa last year.
Oceania 2015 Wrestling Championships is hosted by the Marshall Islands Wrestling Federation (MIWF) in Majuro, Republic of Marshall Islands from March 20-22
