Fatupaepae in Apia postponed its plan to have a stall in town to sell Tokelauan handicrafts.
The plans have been postponed due reasons that there is a much better date where they would help promote their handicraft but also help them have a decent sale than they would if they have that stall on the previous set date.
“It’s postponed because it’s better if we have it during the Miss South Pacific Pageant period – this is a busy time and they would also join other countries at selling their handicrafts”, coordinator Lise Suveinakama said.
Fatupaepae who have been in the country for almost a week have had another opportunity to weave much more handicrafts then what they brought with them.
“It also good for them because they did have enough to sell – all they had would finish in a day or two,” she added.
Market day will be held on the 5th December in Apia.
