Minister of Energy, Aliki Faipule Foua Toloa who received the EECA award on behalf of the Government highlighted the significant of the award as it is a great opportunity to share the dream and aspiration of the nation.
“I personally believe, it is not about winning an award but it is about sharing with you Tokelau’s dream, aspirations and vision in addressing the impact of climate change and sea level rise that is affecting Tokelau and other island nations”.
