​14 New Scholarship Recipients for 2015

Fourteen more students will be added to the list of names under the Tokelau Scholarship Scheme for 2015.

Ms Lolo Vaimoana Tuumuli is the first student to successfully complete her studies and graduate in 2011 since the programme was established in 2008.

 
“For this year we have 14 new scholarship recipients under the Tokelau Scholarship Scheme. Most are undergraduate students who will be studying in USP Laucala Fiji for their first degree in various fields. One will be going to Massey University as a teacher trainee. A couple will be attending School of Medicine at the FNU studying Dentistry. One is studying as a Mechanic also in the FNU School of Science and engineering. And a couple will be entering FNU's School of Maritime training in Fiji.
We also have in total 10 returning student for this year,” Says the Academic TVET Coordinator, Wong Tuipoloa.
 
Four students are expected to complete their degree by the end of this academic year.
 
There are twenty-four scholarships students in total now under the Tokelau Scholarship Scheme.
 
First Tokelauan successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Health under the TSS program in 2011.
