Mothers at the Tokelau Liaison Office in Apia today felt the spirit of mother’s day through efforts of a few young men in organising a delicious cake, and presenting them with red roses.
The event was organised for all the mothers in the office, celebrating their efforts not only for their motherhood but for their unique motherly contribution to the work they do.
The oldest mother, Miti Ngau Chun, working 34 years for the office expressed appreciation on behalf of the mothers in the office, and that they are overwhelmed and thankful for being thoughtful of the mother in the office.
All the fathers in the Tokelau Liaison Office now wait for ‘Father Day’ in August.
