ECE Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator

Background

The Department of Education’s five-year strategic plan has at the forefront of its strategic
goals, “a coherent Early Childhood Development.” The focus of the Early Childhood
Development Strategy is to develop and strengthen a coordinated multisectoral approach to
early childhood development that provide quality integrated services for young children.
Applications are invited for a qualified and experienced person to lead and coordinate
effectively the initiatives and strategies to achieve the expected outcomes for a Coherent
Early Childhood Development.


Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Multi-sectoral framework for early childhood services
2. Tokelau language resources development
3. School-based professional development
4. Routine professional development strategy and implementation

The position is contracted for 3 years and will be based at one of the schools on Tokelau.
