Budget and Financial Advisor FOR THE TAUPULEGA OFFICE, ATAFU
The Taupulega Atafu (Village Council) is looking for an experienced and a result-focused individual to
join our team in the Taupulega Atafu Office, Tokelau, as a Budget/Financial Advisor to the Taupulega
and local stakeholders.

The Financial Officer is responsible in providing financial advice and reports to the Taupulega and
local stakeholders. To successfully perform your role, you will also be required to carry out research
work and analysis information and submit reports to the Taupulega for consideration. You will report
to the Director of the Taupulega Office, Atafu.

- Prepare requsitions and payments for the Director’s approval.

- Prepare reports on any matter regarding financial expenditures for the Taupulega.
- Tapena ma tuku atu ni lipoti tau tupe ki te Taupulega i ho vaega mo ni fakafanoga tupe.
- Assist with preparing financial reports for the Coop Store and the Bulk Store.
- Fehoahoani ki te tapenaga o na lipoti tau tupe mo te Falekoloa vena ma te Paaka.
- Conduct research, analyse data and provide advice to the Taupulega to consider on financial matters.
- Fakatino ni hakilikiliga ma tuku atu ni fakamatalaga hako ki te Taupulega ke fai agai kiei a latou faigatonu/fakaikuga mo ni matakupu tau tupe.
- Assist Director in reviewing, monitoring and reporting of Atafu Budget to the Taupulega.

Personal Requirements: The applicant must meet the following:
Vaega taua e manakomia i te galuega tenei;
- At least 5yrs experience in financial services
- E tatau ke iei ho iloa ma ho poto mahani i na tulaga tau tupe e tuha he 5 tauhaga te mataloa.
- Excellent consultation, facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills
- Agavaka i na tulaga tau fakamainaga, ke mafai ai ia tagata tautokatahi ke maina lelei i na matakupu tau tupe kae maihe te taupulega
- Ability and confidence to establish and maintain excellent working relationship with local stakeholders, able to deliver results as required

- High level of self-motivation, integrity and personal discipline required to work without supervision
